Yesteryear Celebrities Who are Still Alive and Kickin’

Would you believe that some famous celebrities who you thought had passed away or had retired are still very much alive and working? Thfe first movie to be evert shot in Hollywood was the silent movie In Old California, all the waybu back in 1910! The movie-making industry only thrived after that and over the years we have had some amazing actors.

What is amazing is that some of these living legends, even at their advanced age, are still very much strong, energetic, and beautiful as ever, many choosing to age gracefully and naturally. Are you ready for a blast from the past? Here are what your favorite yesteryear stars are up to these days…

Kristy McNichol, 60 Years Old

Kristy McNichol’s name is familiar to TV fans of the 1970s, especially teenagers.  The actress is considered one of the teen idols of that decade.  Her big break came through the television drama, Family, where she played Buddy Lawrence.  However, the ‘vehicle’ that catapulted her to fame was the 80s movie, Little Darlings, where she starred alongside Tatum O’Neal and Matt Dillon.

Sadly, like other Hollywood teen stars, McNichol encountered problems such as substance abuse and mental health issues.  When she was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder, the actress decided to retire from Hollywood.  Retirement was good for McNichol, and she was able to turn her life around.  She proudly came out in 2012, and she’s currently working as a private school acting teacher.

Linda Gray, 79 Years Old

Age has been kind to the septuagenarian Linda Gray, the 79-year-old star of the hugely popular TV show Dallas, for she looks as ravishing as she used to back in the day. After Dallas, she starred in a few spin-offs of the show as well as movies and debuting on broadway.

She even starred in the role of Mrs. Robinson in the broadway adaptation of Graduate. Never the one to pass on a good project, Linda still acts to this day, starring in Hand of God, a drama series by Amazon Studios.

Nancy Sinatra, 80 Years Old

As a progeny of the legendary musician Frank Sinatra, one would expect Nancy Sinatra to also become a musician. And so she did not disappoint. Nancy went on to record music and sing from the 1960’s, and went on to release music all the way till 2013, when her last album dropped. Since then Nancy has been lying low and settling in comfortably into retirement.
