NFL running back Barry Sanders was a delight to watch on the field, playing for the Detroit Lions. e was just so good at dodging players with his agility and quickness. It was quite a shocker when he announced his retirement in 1999, that was made public via a fax sent to his hometown’s newspaper, Wichita Eagle. It was a controversial move since he had signed a contract with the Lions worth a whopping $35 million for the next 6 years and they sued for the signing amount already given to him. These days, he is away from the football field, but is linked to Madden NFL 25, a sports based video game.
