Hal Holbrook, 95 Years Old

Hal Holbrook is one of the best actors in Hollywood, and he got the acting industry’s attention when he played Mark Twain in his one-man stage play. He began his career in 1948 and rose to national fame after appearing on The Ed Sullivan Show, in the late ’50s.

His great acting prowess can be backed up by the numerous acting awards he picked up in his long acting career both on stage, in film and television.  Holbrook only recently retired from his Mark Twain Tonight one-man show, in 2017, after playing it for six decades. He is still not retired from acting though.
