Paul Petersen, 74 Years Old
With the hit 1950s show The Donna Reed Show, actor, singer and activist Paul Petersen won over many fans, and their numbers only increased when he became a singer in the next decade. Of course, he did not turn his back on acting, as he later appeared in Matt Houston and Mommy’s Day. In 1990, Paul started an organization called A Minor Consideration, which supported the transition of child actors successfully into adults working in and out of show business, which as we know, is still a huge problem today. The idea came to him after he heard of former child performer, Rusty Hamer’s suicide. Paul’s last credited guesting roles were in two 2010 movies, after which he seems to have kept a low profile.
