Helen Reddy – DEMENTIA

Australian-born singer-songwriter Helen Reddy gave the world probably the best feminist anthem in the 70s, and titled it ‘I Am Woman,’ thus playing a huge role in popular culture back then. Some other hits of hers have been ‘Delta Dawn, Ruby Red Dress and Angie Baby.’ Her last US chart topper was released in the 90s, and by then she had branched out to TV, movies, activism and performing live. In her later years, she developed dementia and suffered from Addison’s disease. It was announced by her family that Reddy had passed away in late September, 2020 at the age of 78.
