Jared Martin – PANCREATIC CANCER
Jared Martin’s acting career began on the theatre stage. Joining Hollywood may have been inevitable since his roommate during his college days at Columbia University was famous director Brian De Palma. Jared was born in 1941, and he initially worked at The New York Times, before quitting and pursuing acting. Martin’s most famous works include the TV series The Fantastic Journey, War of the Worlds, and Dallas, where he played the character of Steven ‘Dusty’ Farlow. Aside from acting, Martin also tried his hand in directing. Sadly, he passed away from pancreatic cancer in 2017 at the age of 75.
