Whitney Houston – ACCIDENTAL DROWNING
This Guinness World Record title for the most-awarded woman artist in the world was held by the late Whitney Houston as her albums almost always went diamond, platinum and multi-platinum. The ‘I Will Always Love You’ and ‘Higher Love’ crooner was the original diva who paved her way in a male-dominated musical industry in the 80s. Always well put together, she started appearing disheveled just prior to her death in February 2012, when she was found unconscious in her hotel room’s bathtub and could not be resuscitated. The 48-year-old had a cocktail of drugs in her body at the time of her death, and the cause of death was accidental drowning.
