Back in the day, actor Sam J. Jones beat Hollywood studs Arnold Schwarzenegger and Kurt Russell to bag the leading role in the 1980 cult classic movie, Flash Gordon. However, all wasn’t well after, as he was labelled “difficult to work with” in the industry.
The result was that he waited 2 decades by the phone for substantial movie and TV roles, settling for only small roles. But he loves going to conventions even today, and his old and young fans are very close to his heart. He last starred in the 2022 movie, An Unlikely Angel.
