From the Silver Screen to the Golden Years: Hollywood’s Ageless Wonders
Joan Collins – Born In 1933
Actress Joan Collins’ start in acting was quite early, at the young age of nine, when she starred in the stage play, A Doll’s House. However, her actual career as an actress began in 1951, whe she appeared in small film roles, like the one in The Woman’s Angle. Her big break came through a major part in the film I Believe in You. Other movies she’s known for are Rally Round the Flag, Boys! and The Girl in the Red Velvet Swing. Those, however, did not make as big an impact as her most famous role in television, Alexis Carrington, in the soap opera Dynasty. Aside from acting, Collins also spends time doing charitable works, and she’s also an established author with several best-selling books.
