Kim Carnes’ is not a name that we have heard of in a hot minute! But the singer-songwriter Kim has sung and penned some of the stellar hits such as ‘You’re a Part of Me,’ ‘Draw of Cards,’ and ‘Voyeur.’ Her raspy and distinctive vocals is what got her noticed.
In her heydays, she rubbed shoulders working with the likes of Kenny Rogers, and David Cassidy. Carnes’ last studio album was released in 2004, and since then, she concentrated more on writing music than performing and singing. She lives a quiet life in Nashville.
