Carroll Baker, Born in 1931
Trained at the Actor’s Studio under Lee Strasberg, actress Carroll Baker started acting in 1954 on Broadway. Starring in the 1956 movie, Baby Doll, got her nominated for her first Oscar. She would go on to act in The Big Country and Andy Warhol’s Bad.
By the time the ‘80s rolled in, Baker would do more supporting roles in dramas and television shows such as Murder, She Wrote, Roswell and Kindergarten Cop. Carroll would retire from acting completely in 2003, and she also has a novel and two autobiographies to her name.
