Bern Nadette Stanis, 64 Years Old
Actress Bern Nadette Stanis rose to fame in the 70s through the TV show Good Times. It has been said that every African-American girl in wanted to be like Stanis’ character, Thelma Evans, back then. When the groundbreaking TV show ended, Stanis’ acting breaks became limited to guest appearances in TV shows such as The Parent Hood, The Love Boat, and The Cosby Show.
Although she makes TV guestings every now and then, Stanis is mostly retired from the industry, concentrating on her family and writing (she released a book called ‘Bern Nadette Stanis Situations 101’ back in 2006).
