Johnny Mathis, 85 Years Old
It is said that singer-songwriter Johnny Mathis was way ahead of his times, and not everyone understood his craft back in his hey-days. But with many of his well-received albums going gold and platinum, Johnny soon took a bit from many musical genres to find his place as a popular musician.
The 85-year-old was favored by many generations even though he is known as the “voice of the 50s.” He may have undergone two titanium hip surgeries, but he can still outperform younger artists on stage. The singer of hits such as ‘Misty,’ and ‘Chances Are,’ is still busy making music, performing on stage and recording albums.
