Gina Lollobrigida, whose real name is Luigia, is a famed Italian actress and photo-journalist. At the height of her stardom, in the ‘50s and ‘60s, she became famous for her steamy image and was known pretty much in all of Europe!
As her time in front of the camera came to a close, she picked her second career behind the camera to become a photojournalist. In the ‘70s, she was able to get exclusive access to Fidel Castro to interview him, leaving many journalists fuming! In 2013, she auctioned off her jewelry collection, and donated the $5 million raised for stem-cell research!
