Nancy Kwan Ka-shen is a Chinese-American actress, former dancer and philanthropist, who has set the precedence for the acceptance of Asian and Asian-decent actors and actresses in major Hollywood roles, not just supporting roles or comedic ones!
Nancy’s breakthrough role was acting in the 1960’s movie The World of Suzie Wong, which won her popularity, fame and a Golden Globe Award! She would take a hiatus from acting, come back to star in Night Children and other movies, started her own production company and wrote books.
