Looks like Bobby Rydell is never going to hang up his boots and retire, even as he is fast approaching his 80s and has had a liver and kidney transplant! Bobby loves his stage and lives to perform on it, and follows a set old-timey routine that includes stories and jokes between his songs.
Bobby’s time to shine came in the early 60s, when he became a teen idol with his hit songs ‘Wild One’ and ‘Kissin’ Time.’ He has even acted in the De Niro movie, The Comedian and Bye Bye Birdie, but his music and performances is what truly keeps him going.
