Marla Gibbs, 88 Years Old
Actress Marla Gibbs is 88 years old today, but if you ask her, she tells you that she’s 30! The TV show veteran has completed 50 years working in the industry and is perhaps best known for her role as Florence Johnston from TV’s The Jeffersons. She has also charmed audiences with her acting on 227, Rel, NSIC, American Horror Story and Scandal. In 2019, she made a surprise appearance on Live in Front a Studio Audience’s episode of The Jeffersons on ABC, reprising her role as Florence and delighting everyone. Might we add that she stepped back into her famous role rather seamlessly, as if she never really left!
