Anne Reid, 85 Years Old
Known for portraying the role of Valerie Barlow from the long running soap opera on British TV, Coronation Street, and Jean in Dinnerladies, actress Anne Reid is an award-winning and decorated legend who has acted on stage, television and in movies.
Before and after her run on Coronation Street between 1961 and 1971, Anne had acted on The Benny Hill Show, The Adventures of Robin Hood and Doctor Who. Even though she is not seen very often on the screen these days, she is still very active on stage.
