Actress Sophia Loren is a native of Italy, so when she decided to establish a home base in the United States, she needed to consider how she always wanted to be reminded of home despite being thousands of miles away from it. The actress said she deliberated the decision of the location with her husband and son, and they all eventually decided on Williams Island in South Florida. Since privacy is important to all of Loren’s homes, her home in Florida is quite secluded. The interiors are clearly Italian-themed, since the actress wanted to a reminding of home, and her designer Ted Fine did not fail to deliver. When it comes to the star’s bedroom, the four-poster bed is something she won’t let go because it has sentimental value to her – Loren was confined to the very same bed twice, when she was pregnant with her two sons.
