What else could Cher’s house be aside from being ‘perfection’? Situated near the ocean, Cher chose a home design that’s perfect for its location – an Italian Renaissance–style-villa-inspired. The star may have hired professionals to build her perfect home, but the structure and interior designs of it were all Cher’s idea. The star calls her home her sanctuary, and the idea of it came from visiting the late fashion designer Gianni Versace’s home, Casa Casuarina, as well as her many visits to the Italian city of Venice. With its many rooms, Cher said each of them have two views of the Pacific Ocean, including the master bedroom. Cher’s bed frame is upholstered in Scalamandré silk, and a painting of Mary with Jesus Christ is right above it.
