Gerard Butler

Gerard Butler may be grieving the partial loss of his Malibu estate, but he has another home to stay in that’s located in Manhattan.  The loft is spread across two-story and is 3,300 sq ft big.  When he had the home revamped, Butler asked the design assistance of Elvis Restaino, a film designer, as well as the genius of architect Alexander Gorlin.  Since the designer works in films, this may be the reason why the home has a cinematic vibe to it.  His home somewhat appears like the inside of a medieval castle – perhaps it’s because of his Scottish roots?  According to Butler, he sees his Manhattan home as a place where he can retreat to find peace and quiet.  The actor must spend a lot of time in his bedroom that has a ceiling fresco.  Butler wanted his bedroom to appear raw and masculine, and he’s definitely achieved it with its dark tones, crystal chandeliers, and knocker mahogany.
