Beloved actress Shelley Long’s star shone brightest in the 80s, Cheers being the highlight of her career. Even though she’s starred in several films after Cheers, she never really got the big break she wanted. She had to hire a divorce lawyer when she and her husband parted ways in 2004, the same year she was hospitalized for overdosing on painkillers. That experience was a thing of the past, and Long got back on her feet and started acting again. She regularly guest stars in the award-winning comedy series Modern Family.
