Michael C. Hall – Dexter
Before the talented Michael C. Hall started an acting career on television and film, he worked in theater first. His first Broadway role of the loud Emcee in Cabaret, was given to him by renowned Hollywood director Sam Mendes. It was also Mendes who would recommend Hall in the TV series Six Feet Under, a show that first got him attention. His success in the series made it possible for the actor to produce and at the same time star in his most successful TV show to date, Dexter. Hall played Dexter Morgan, a Miami Metro Police Department blood spatter analyst, who moonlights as a psychopathic serial killer and vigilante. For this role, Hall was able to win both a Screen Actors Guild Award and a Golden Globe Award.
