Ed O’Neill and Sophia O’Neill at Age 21
While actor Ed O’Neill played a grumpy but loveable dad in both of his famous roles as Al Bundy in comedy show Married… with Children and then as Jay Pritchett in TV’s Modern Family, in real life, he’s a doting dad of two daughters. Ed is said to have not wanted any kids, but when his eldest daughter Sophia came along, he fell in love. Sophia, fresh in her 20s, is following her dad’s lead and had been bitten by the acting bug. She has appeared in Modern Family in a cameo role and on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, sitting in the audience as her dad was being interviewed. Apart from this, she has acted in On the Block II and An American Funeral.
