Katie Couric and Caroline ‘Carrie’ Monahana at Age 23
Journalist and TV personality recently shared some good news on her Instagram page, posting a photo of her younger daughter who just graduated in 2019. Caroline went to Columbia University and got her degree in journalism, probably hoping to follow her mom’s career trajectory. Katie as we know, has worked with three of the biggest American TV news networks; CNN, NBC News and ABC News. On the personal front, she was married to John Monahan, a lawyer and legal analyst for NBC. They had a happy marriage and had two daughters, Elinor Tully and Caroline. Sadly, John passed away in 1998 due to colon cancer, but we are sure he would have been proud of his girls today.
