One of the most well-known rags to riches was that of Sylvester Stallone. He was homes for quite some time, and even sold his dog for $50 just to have money for food. In case you do not know, Stallone wrote the script for Rocky, and when he finally was able to sell it – well, as they say, the rest is history. He bought back his dog for $3,000 and bought many homes after he became one of the highest paid actors in Hollywood. One of his real estate properties is his home in La Quinta, California, which we assume has a state of the art home security system. Though we are pretty sure, he himself is a one-man security system!
