When it was revealed that Britain’s Princess Diana is related to the Bush Family of the United States, it wasn’t shocking since we all know that the British colonized America many years ago. Nonetheless, it’s still quite amazing that an American political dynasty is related to another across the seas, which are the Spencers, Princess Diana’s family. The two families are linked through Henry Spencer of Badby, Northamptonshire. Some time in the 1400s, Henry Spencer married Isabella Lincoln, thus creating the Spencer lineage. The Bush family was somehow destined to produce notable people, because aside from being related to Princess Diana and her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, they also appear to be linked by blood with Winston Churchill, Calvin Coolidge, Franklin D. Roosevelt, and George Washington.
