Ronald Reagan and Ashley Reagan: Grandfather and Granddaughter
When Ronald Reagan took the oath of office for the presidency of the United States, he became the oldest president-elect on record at 69 years old. Before he became president, Reagan was an actor and was elected twice as the Screen Actors Guild President, and also became Governor of California. Under Reagan’s presidency, there was growth in the real GDP, reduction of inflation, and it was also during his term that the INF Treaty was signed, a treaty that had the United States and USSR to reduce the number of their respective nuclear weapons. Reagan’s children did not run for office like him, and led discreet lives raisin their own children. One of Ronald’s granddaughters is Ashley Reagan, who has been quietly living her life as a teacher.
