Sharon Tate and Arieana Tate Mussenden: Aunt and Niece
The gorgeous Sharon Tate was once hailed as ‘Hollywood’s most promising newcomer’ when she was starting her acting career. Her debut film was 1961’s Barabbas, where she appeared alongside lead actor Anthony Quinn. However, it’s because of the movie Valley of the Dolls that she’s best remembered. Tragedy cut short Tate’s life and Hollywood career short, when she was murdered at her home by the members of Charles Manson’s ‘family’. Tate was just two weeks short of giving birth to her son, Paul Richard Polanski, at the time of her death. Although her son also died with her, Tate’s legacy still lives through her niece, Arieana Tate Mussenden, an aspiring clothing designer and model, who happens to be the daughter of Tate’s sister, Debra.
