When New Girl actress Zooey Deschanel was shopping for new homes with her first husband, they bought a beautiful 3-story, 4,900 square foot beachy home in Manhattan Beach worth $5.6 million. Post their divorce, Zooey listed the house for $5.96 million.
The actress did not have to list it on any property websites as she sold it quite easily. She made improvements such as a new security gate, replacing wooden flooring and instaling new appliances, and it has a spacious private balcony, vintage-style bathroom, gym, and walk-in closets.
