Eric Braeden is one of the living veteran actors of television. He is most recognized for playing Victor Newman in the soap opera The Young and the Restless since 1980, but the actor has been acting on TV many years before that. He has appeared in famous television series like The Virginian, Gunsmoke, Barnaby Jones, The Mary Tyler Moore Show, and too many others to mention. The actor chose a tranquil mountain area in Los Angeles as a location of his home, instead of a bustling locality. He had quite a scare in 2018 during the Simi Valley fire, as he was asked to evacuate his home in the fear that the fire would torch his home. Luckily, his estate was missed by the fire, however, that of his granddaughter’s was burned down.
