Rock Hudson: ~ $649,000, Palm Springs
Actor Rock Hudson ruled over many hearts in the 1950’s and 1960’s, and is still fondly remembered as an industry icon. As he started making a name for himself in the acting business, he moved homes and one of those that he built was this Palm Springs place which comes with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. In fact, he owned this house until his death, and thankfully even after changing hands, the property retains a few of his touches; like the “H” monogrammed on the front gate and a very unusual crooked window near the pool. We doubt that the ‘tiki’ theme we see today is his doing, although the house does have a pirate ship on it now! Rock used to have his guests sign on his wall as they left, but unfortunately, that got painted over.
