James Taylor: Unknown Value, The Berkshires
Singer-songwriter James Taylor did something very outlandish and not expected from someone who is as famous as him. He took his wife Kim and twin boys and moved to Lenox (total population – 5000 people) in The Berkshires. His home there even has a barn with was converted into a rehearsal space and recording studio, a wine cellar which was converted into a temperature controlled guitar cellar which holds his 18 guitars and a garage workshop where James takes up small woodwork projects like making rough furniture and fixing his kids’ toys. The family usually take their lunch on the large screened-in porch which gives them amazing views of the hillside and valley, miles away.
