Celebrities are known for their lavish and luxurious lifestyles. With a bank account like theirs, who wouldn’t want to spend on the nicest things that the world has to offer? Special attention, it seems, is given to housing situations when you’re rich.
Most of the famous people we know live in huge and upscale houses that give a whole new meaning to modern and luxurious living. After all, who wouldn’t want to live in such opulence! Let’s take a look at some of the biggest names in the industry and their pricey abodes that they call “home”.
Katy Perry: ~ $15 million, Los Feliz, CA
We really didn’t take singer Katy Perry for the religious kind, and so, were surprised when she bought herself a $15 million Spanish-Gothic estate which was a convent, nonetheless. And the nuns who lived here before Perry, really put up a fight to get it back, but they lost in court. The 8-acre property contains the 30,000 square foot main house, fountain pool, tower and adjacent prayer quarters. The home was first owner by KFI-AM radio station founder Earle C. Anthony, many years before the sisters pooled in their money to buy the property. We hope Katy has been praying up a storm here in her new house.c
