Frances Beatrix Sade – Made her mom laugh
The name of Kate Spade was synonymous with chic but affordable designer bags. Spade completely sold her fashion brand to Neiman Marcus Group in 2006, to focus on raising her only child, daughter Frances Beatrix Spade, now 13 years old. When Kate talked about her daughter, she always said that she has a great sense of humor. We were shocked when, in June 2018, Spade was found dead at her home. Tragically, she had taken her own life.
