HGTV: ~ $2 million, Studio City
One of the most memorable family on TV was the Brady Bunch and the house of Violet and George McCallister served as the exterior backdrop of the show, as the cast and crew used it for the period between 1969-1974. Originally bought at $61,000, the house was recently put on the market for $1.885 million and one interested party was former N’Sync member Lance Bass. As it turned out HGTV network outbid Bass, making them the new owners of the property. If you must know, the network specializes in home transformations, with their hit TV shows such as Property Brothers, Flip or Flop, Love It or List It, and Fixer Upper. HGTV CEO David Zaslav said they aim to restore it to its former ’70s’ glory.
