You may know actress Rose Leslie as Ygritte in the HBO’s Game of Thrones. She played the love interest of John Snow, who was played by actor Kit Harington. Well, the two really hit it off and got married in 2018, after the show ended.
The couple may have bought a new house in East Anglia, but did you know that the actres’ family owns a castle? Apparently, Rose grew up in Wardhill Castle in Aberdeenshire, which the Leslie clan has owned for 900 years. The actress also happens to be a descendant of King Charles II of England. Kit may play royalty in GOT, but in real life, it’s Rose who owns a castle! What can be more perfect than to get married at a medieval castle, right? Wardhill Castle became the place where the lovebird recently recited their marriage vows.
