So when Ken Griffin, a hedge-fund manager by profession, went on a real estate purchasing spree in 2018, he picked up some amazingly expensive properties all over the world including a penthouse in NYC’s most exclusive skyscraper, which is still under construction. Ken’s net worth today is said to be an estimated $8.84 billion, so splurging on a pent house worth $238 million is not that outlandish and with the sale having gone through, it is the most costliest home ever sold in the US. And to top it all off, musical Sting would become Kens neighbour once the houses are ready to be handed over.
