Jackie Kennedy Onassis: ~ $43 Million, McLean, Virginia

When Jackie Kennedy Onassis was still Jacqueline Bouvier, and years before she moved in to the White House, she spent her childhood days in a nine-bedroom Georgian-style mansion in McLean, Virginia, called Merrywood Estate.

Now, it has been reported that it’s owner, AOL co-founder Steve Case, who bought it for $24.5 million in 2005, has sold it for a whopping amount of $43 million. The buyer and current owner is the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, which speaks of the comfort and class the residence offers. It looks like it wont be on the market again anytime soon.
