Insane Celebrity Houses

Rudolph Valentino: ~ $4.9 million, Beverly Hills

The Beverly Hills estate of the famous silent era movie star Rudolph Valentino has a sad history attached to it. The late Italian-origin actor bought the property in 1925 for $175,000 and even bought the adjoining land to build stables for his horses. But he couldn’t live in this house for long as he passed away due to gastric ulcers, the very next year, at the age of 31. He willed his property to his siblings who had to sell the estate bit-by-bit to repay all the debt that Valentino had left behind. The only part of the original 8-acre property that now remains is his stable which has been converted into a 2,844 square hoot house with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, an updated kitchen, spa and saltwater pool, all on a 1.3 acre plot.
