No, Oprah did not purchase a whale or a whale sanctuary, although the name of her newest property is the same as the cute-looking mammal. The queen of talk added another on her list of real estate properties, she bought a private compound in Washington’s Orcas Island. This island is one of the four big islands that makes up the San Juan Islands archipelago. Oprah’s new property, the Madroneagle Estate, is 43-acre big, with the main house having 4 bedrooms, and 3 full and 2 half bathrooms. There is a guesthouse on the property which also has 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The shoreline near the house is said to be 3,000-feet in size, and has remained unspoiled to this day.
