In late 2018, we learned that the house of the late actor Chris Farley that served as an addiction treatment center was to be demolished and replaced with a new facility. Farley, who starred in Beverly Hills Ninja, died of an overdose in 1997 at the age of 33. His Wisconsin home was built in 1956 and featured 15 beds. Now, Catholic Charities of Madison plans to demolish it and to build a new, bigger, 20-bed facility at its place. It is scheduled to be opened in December 2019 and is expected to cost about $2 million.
