The late Debbie Reynolds was one of the most enduring Hollywood actresses before her passing in 2016, with her most famous film being the classic Singin’ in the Rain. But, to a Star Wars fan, Debbie Reynolds was not a Hollywood legend, but the lovely mother to Carrie Fisher aka Princess Leia.
It was the love for the craft that Carrie inherited from her mother, and she went on to become an actress and screenwriter as well, in her later years. Carrie published several novels as well, including The Princess Diarist, which is based on her diary she kept during Star wars filming. She passed away on December 27, 2016, while her mother followed the very next day.
