The actress, who we know from Urban Cowboy, An Officer and a Gentleman, and Terms of Endearment, was experiencing growing disillusionment with Hollywood and instead, turned her attention to her family, the theatre stage and her environmental activism, apart from charity. Just five years later, she was seen in the movie Big Bad Love with her second husband, actor Arliss Howard and just recently, she was spotted on The Lovers, acting alongside Tracy Letts.
