These Child Stars Are All Grown Up Now

A lot of people have been wondering whatever happened to the 5-year old little boy from The Shining. Some thought the child actor who played it couldn’t handle the fame at a young age and gave in to alcoholism or substance abuse. The truth is, Dan Lloyd tried to make it in the acting business for until he was 14 years old, then he and his mother eventually gave up. He went on to live a normal and ordinary life, opting to go to college in his native Illinois, and he decided to teach thereafter. He is now happily married and a father of 6! He doesn’t regret being in The Shining, and said he had the best time of his life filming it.
