You may remember Lark Voorhies who played Lisa Turtle in the super popular sitcom Saved by the Bell. Her onscreen career, however, started well before that as she was already acting since age two. She was hugely successful throughout the 90s, appearing in everything from music videos to TV movies.
She later transitioned to film in the early 2000s. She has three books written and published to her name and briefly dabbled in music, as well. In 2006, she made headlines when she sued a tabloid that claimed that she had a substance abuse problem.
