Lisa Jakub – Happily married
Lisa Jakub is best known for playing angst-ridden teen Lydie Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire. She also appeared in Independence Day. Despite her success in blockbuster films, she retired from acting at age 22, ostensibly to marry her long-time partner.
She revealed in a blog post that her acting had stopped being fun and she simply wanted to leave that job behind her. She seems happily married and she enjoys her life out of the spotlight. Nowadays, she also works as a yoga instructor, while she’s also authored two writings. Pretty talented, right?
