Maddie Ziegler – Dancer

Maddie Ziegler is not one of those dancers who, at some point in their lives, decided they have a passion for dance. Ziegler became a dancer even when she probably didn’t have the ability to comprehend the meaning of one’s “passions” in life. At 2 years old, she started taking dance lessons, and at the 4, she’s already a member of the famous Abby Lee Dance Company.

After appearing in Lifetime’s reality show, Dance Moms, Ziegler was discovered and began appearing in music videos. One of those music videos was for Sia’s song, “Chandelier,” which made the 11-year-old Ziegler instantly famous. The video became one of the most viewed YouTube video of all time, with more than 2 billion views.  Now 17 years old, Ziegler’s success continues. Aside from touring with Sia, she also appeared in advertisements, became a judge for the show So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation, voiced Camille Le Haut in the animated film Ballerina, and starred in the movie The Book of Henry.
