OLD STARS YOU THOUGHT ARE LONG GONE
BUT THEY ARE NOT EVEN PLANNING THEIR RETIREMENT
Tina Charles, Born in 1954

If the United States had disco queen Donna Summer, the United Kingdom had disco singer Tina Charles. She began her career on TV first, with the BBC sketch show The Two Ronnies. She got her ticket to fame when Biddu, a record producer and composer took a chance on her and produced the songs I Love to Love (But My Baby Loves to Dance) and You Set My Heart on Fire. Although the singer’s last song she released was Your Love Is My Light in 2010, she is still pursuing her passion of singing today at 65.
