OLD STARS YOU THOUGHT ARE LONG GONE
BUT THEY ARE NOT EVEN PLANNING THEIR RETIREMENT
Kate Bush, Born in 1958
One of Britain’s most celebrated singer-songwriters from the 70s and 80s is Kate Bush, who has given us hits like Wuthering Heights, Running Up That Hill and Babooshka, among others. The Rock and Roll Hall of Famer started writing music when she was just 11 and made her debut back in 1978.
Over the years, Kate wrote and performed many hit singles and released 10 albums, while also collaborating with music biggies such as Elton John, Eric Clapton, and Prince. Bush, who is now in her 60s, still performs to this day, although not very regularly. In 2012, she turned down a chance to perform at the Olympics ending ceremony.
